Sunday:
This was the most meaningful image and building I documented for this project. This is the church that I go to every Sunday with my family. I choose to photograph this building because it shows significance to me and it has more meaning than just documenting a building. I came across a couple of obstacles while documenting. The biggest one was not getting trees and plants in the photo. The main point of the project is to get just the building and nothing else. By taking this photo I am trying to convey a feeling of meaningfulness.
UP:
This image is by far my favorite! This is an office building downtown on Michigan's Campus. I was not planning on photographing it but when I looked at it I knew I had to. It has three different columns pushed out from the building lined with black to make them stick out. So when I switched the image into a blueprint it turned out great. When you look at it now the image looks like the building goes on forever. I had no difficulty taking this image, and it looks awesome blueprinted. This photo to me shows a feeling of heights and city life

Long way down:
This final image turned out amazing! It is a photo of a ramp in a parking garage slanted so you can see everything. When I chose to turn one of my images into a blueprint I immediately picked this image because every line points down towards the end of the ramp and the blueprint bolded those lines which make the focal point more noticeable. One thing that was a little tricky for me was coming up with different angles. This was hard for me because a lot of times everything inside a parking garage looks the same and it is hard to find something unique. When I look at this image I can remember times I parked in a parking garage.
Lined Building:
I took this photo downtown Ann Arbor, it is one of the University of Michigan's buildings for the students. I chose this photo for my composition of editing it into a blueprint because of how the building looks sideways. I love how you can see the lines going off into the distance and how the edit made them look bold. The taking of this photo was very difficult because there were a lot of people walking around the building so I had to adjust how I was taking the photo. In the end I love this photo because it shows off University of Michigan's buildings and I love how the final image looks. When I look at this image I can imagine how I took it.

Statue:
This is a statue that I have looked at since I was a kid. When my teacher said our next unit is to photograph architecture I knew I had to photograph this statue. I love how the blueprint of this image turned out because you can see the outline of the statue very clearly. This was not hard to take at all for the first two images but because it is just one object I had to get creative with the angles I was taking them at. This image to me makes me feel like I am at a museum looking at artifacts.
